What we do
From a simple electrical fix to a full upgrade, we get the water moving again.
Screaming or seized motor? We can often replace just the motor and seals and keep your housing.
Humming, tripping the breaker or dead: capacitors, wiring and timers tracked down safely.
A puddle under the pump means a failed seal. We replace it before water reaches the bearings.
Low or surging flow from a clogged impeller: we open it up and clear the debris.
Air in the basket or trouble priming: we find and seal the leak.
Quieter, better filtration and a much lower electric bill.
Catch these early and you may avoid a full motor failure.
How it works
Visual and sound check, electrical testing: is it a capacitor or the whole motor?
Parts and labor laid out, repair vs. replace options explained.
Pump primed, pressure checked, no leaks, strong circulation before we call it done.
Good to know
A newer pump with a bad capacitor, seal or jammed impeller: repair it. An old single-speed pump with a brittle, sun-baked housing and a dead motor: we’ll recommend a variable-speed pump, which often pays for itself in electricity savings within a few seasons.
Pentair (IntelliFlo, WhisperFlo, SuperFlo), Hayward (EcoStar, Super Pump, TriStar) and Jandy. We carry common capacitors, shaft seals and lid o-rings, and use Century and Nidec replacement motors.
Pressure-side cleaner like a Polaris not moving? We repair booster pumps: seals, motors and pressure.
Most often a bad start capacitor, sometimes a seized motor. Turn it off. Leaving it humming can burn the motor out.
For most pools, yes. They run quieter, filter better and use far less electricity than single-speed pumps.
Check that the water level is above the skimmer and the pump lid is sealed. If it keeps happening, there’s probably a suction leak, and we can find it.
Yes, booster pumps for pressure-side cleaners.
