When it needs an acid wash
If algae has stained the plaster after the water is clear, an acid wash takes the stains off. We’ll tell you if it’s needed. Most pools don’t.

How long does a green pool take to clear?
It depends on how green it is and how the equipment is doing. We’ll give you an honest estimate when we see it.
Do I have to drain the pool?
Usually not. Most green pools clear with cleaning, treatment and filtration. Draining is only for extreme cases.
Why did my pool turn green?
Usually low chlorine, a dirty filter or a pump that isn’t running long enough. Our West Texas heat makes algae grow fast.
